My top tips on how to feel less stressed, more relaxed, and happy.
We all have our days. We wake up and it feels impossible to endure what the world is throwing our way. Whether we are exhausted, sad, moody, irritable. We all have our days. How we choose to react when we have those days is the true challenge. Yes we can go through those days and "get by." It's life sometimes we have no choice. But we always have a few simple choices we can choose to make each day and benefit from immensely. Especially on the lowest of days. On days when you are really struggling with your personal mentality are the days when you need to make self care a priority.

Tips:
Learn to say no - Saying no can be very hard, but sometimes you need to for the sake of your own mental health and well-being. Whether it is calling into work, having to cancel plans, or declining an invite. Sometimes you need to "say no," to say yes to yourself.
Get Outside - Getting outside is an immediate mood booster. Try to take even just 15 minutes to be outside. Whether you walk or just lay in the sun. Feeling the breeze, breathing in the fresh air, feeling the nature surrounding you will help reduce the negative vibes if you embrace and take advantage of it.
Get Moving - Make time to move. Move in the way you want to. Run, walk, dance, lift, bike, yoga, stretch. Moving your body releases the "feel good" endorphins that will help boost your mood and get you through even the hardest of days. Taking even just 20-30 minutes out of your day to move your body will drastically enhance your mood.
Fuel Your Body - Eating whole natural foods are an instant mood booster. Fruits and vegetables specifically have nutrients in them that will help raise your vibrations. Cook something salty and delicious with vegetables like fajitas, or a fresh salad. Add in a lean protein of choice. Or indulge in a yummy fruit smoothie, parfait, or add dark chocolate and nut butters to your fruit. This will help satisfy your sweet tooth while helping uplift your mood.
Read - Find a mindful, inspiring, or interesting book that grabs your attention. Escaping in to the book world for even just 10-15 minutes can help calm you down and help with relaxation.
Write - When you are consumed by your thoughts, feelings, ideas. On days when your mind is going a million miles a minute. Take just 5-10 minutes and write. Write down whatever you need to and that feels right. This will help clear and settle your mind.
Breathe - Take some time to focus on your breathing. Calm your mind and thoughts. Breathe in, hold in, breathe out, and let go. Try to let go of the negative vibes circling your thoughts. Breathing is something so simple that is always taken for granted. By stoping and focusing on your breathe, you will instantly calm down and feel relaxed.
Do something for you - Make time to light a candle, take a hot bath, watch your favorite show, listen to a podcast, take a nap, make a warm drink. Even on the most busy and overwhelming days. If you don't make time for yourself, you will be stuck in the "having a day pattern." If you leave out even just a few minutes every day to take care of you, over time it'll turn in to habit. And even on "those days" where you feel like nothing will uplift your negative mood and energy. You, yourself will be able to do something to make yourself feel better.
